The beauty of taking a cutting is you can clone your favourite plants! Plus, your new plants are ready for planting sooner than if grown from seed. Cuttings are particularly valuable for propagation of shrubs and climbers.
During this course, you will learn:
• The reasons for taking cuttings (as opposed to sowing seeds or dividing plants)
• The most common methods of taking cuttings
• When to take cuttings
• How to care for cuttings
You will then choose your own cuttings to prepare and take home.
We will provide all materials, necessary tools and homemade refreshments throughout the course.
